Ally's New Life [Palette Lock 2025]
[Note: Game contains flashing patterns and potentially straining colors, if you have any kind of issues with these, please take caution before playing this game]
HTML5 Is now available!
This is a game made for the week long Palette Lock Jam in 2025!
This is essentially a prototype, so please be mindful of that when playing.
Ally, a young dragon, is slacking off while trying to keep away from Ms.Marrows' attention. Of course, this didn't work out, so now she has to do some grocery shopping . In this bite sized adventure, you'll eventually interact with numerous villagers as you complete this small chore.
Music by Delldone98!
Controls:
WASD to Move
Hold Shift to Run
F to Interact
Spacebar to Jump
(if you spam jump, you can fly!)
F2 for fullscreen
Notes:
The story is unfinished, so there is only two interactible NPCs. Be sure to go over and press F (Spoiler: they're all kind of assholes, sorry about that lol)
With messages, be sure to move away from characters after you start convo, or you will start the textbox again.
There is a missing boundary at the two ends of the Outside area so be careful when roaming around

A nice prototype, you can make a really cute game out of it! I was a bit confused at first because of some bugs (I think I fell under the world when I went to the left corner outside. Also dialogs keep repeating if you press space and stand near NPC.) Getting the frog was a tough task, but when I figured out you can hold space to jump higher, I accomplished it :D. Music is nice! My favourite tracks are spoony.ogg and tellmewhy.ogg (jk, the main menu track is nice). Good job!
(also fullscreen is F2 for me, not F1)
Completely my mistake on the fullscreen, I'll fix the controls on the page
At least you found the built in mute button
Idk if my other comment sent but just to reiterate, I did notice the collision being missing on the right side of the outside at the very last minute, I'm real sorry about that. If I finish this as a full game, I'll obviously fix that lol
Also there is a secret in the game if you haven't found it just yet, but that's only if you're curious
Edit: Okay, just saw you posted the comment on both the rating and main game page, I'll leave what I said but lol
